2007 Milestones

  • Became the first QB in USF history to rush for 700 yards in a season.
  • Broke the school record for career yards rushing by a QB vs Syracuse.
  • Established a new school record for yards passing in a game with 382 vs. Cincinnati.
  • Against Pittsburgh, had an 80-yard TD run, the longest TD run of his career, the longest by a USF player in 2007, and the longest TD run by a quarterback in USF history. It was his 10th of the season, which is also a USF single season record for QB.
  • As a sophmore, Grothe recorded his 19th career rushing TD in 2007, one shy of the school record for QBs at USF.
